Help Us Empower Disabled Ultrapreneurs – One Christmas Jumper at a Time!

We’re on a mission to fund the first Disabled Ultrapreneur through our inclUSion initiative, and we’re already 70% of the way there! Thanks to an incredible community effort, including my completion of a handbike marathon, we’ve raised the majority of our goal. Now, we just need £3k more to make this vision a reality.

Starting from 1st November, I will be wearing a different Christmas jumper every day, donated to me, and posting about a different inclusion challenge we face in the world today. These daily posts will highlight important conversations on inclusivity and how we can work together to create a fairer, more accessible society.

What’s an Ultrapreneur?

An ultrapreneur is someone who not only starts and runs a business but is driven by a bigger purpose—to create systemic or social change. They aim to address societal challenges like inclusion, equity, or sustainability while growing their businesses. Often, ultrapreneurs come from marginalized or intersectional backgrounds, giving them unique perspectives on how to innovate and create lasting change. However, we don’t expect or require an intersectional identity. We believe in inclusivity, not exclusivity—our goal is to empower any disabled person with the passion to lead and create.

At inclUSion, we know that disabled people have powerful insights that can lead to innovative solutions for everyone. By funding 100 disabled ultrapreneurs, we’re working to harness the disability pound (purple pound) to benefit both the disabled community and society as a whole. We’re creating pathways for disabled individuals to break free from the benefits trap, build financial independence, and thrive as business leaders.

What Will Your Donation Do?

• Provide six months of job coaching to help disabled individuals launch their businesses.
• Offer a cash injection to get their business off the ground.
• Enable them to access government support for their business ideas.

This fundraiser will create the first of 100 Disabled Ultrapreneurs and give them the tools and support they need to succeed. We believe in partnership and inclusivity, and we are committed to lifting the 1 in 5 disabled people in the UK out of poverty through entrepreneurial opportunities.

How We Got to 70%

We’ve raised the first 70% through:

• My handbike marathon and other fundraising challenges.
• Personal contributions from our amazing supporters.
• Events focused on inclusion and empowerment.

But we still need your help to raise the final £3k to fully fund the first ultrapreneur!

We’re Almost There!

Join me from 1st November on my daily Christmas jumper challenge, and let’s keep the conversation going on inclusion and empowerment. With your help, we can cross the finish line and build a future where disabled business owners thrive.

Thank you for your support! Let’s make this happen together—1/100 on the way!
