Help Us Fund The Sensory Bus – Inclusion on Wheels!

For 1 in 6 children, sensory challenges—often linked to autism, ADHD, or anxiety—make traditional community spaces overwhelming.
Imagine being a parent at a community event, watching your child struggle to find a place where they belong. Loud noises, bright lights, and chaotic environments can lead to sensory overload, isolating not just the child but the entire family.

While sensory therapies are growing in schools and healthcare facilities, community spaces lag behind.
Every year, millions of neurodivergent children and their families face challenges in accessing inclusive, sensory-friendly environments.
Yet, despite this growing need, access remains limited, especially in underserved communities.

What Is the Sensory Bus?
The Sensory Bus isn’t just a vehicle—it’s a LIFELINE. It provides a calm, sensory-friendly space where children can regulate, explore, and connect.
Inside the Bus:
Calming Sensory Space – Adjustable lighting, sensory-friendly colors, and peaceful sounds
Tactile Exploration Walls – Interactive textures to encourage sensory play
Cozy Nooks for Self-Regulation – Safe retreat spaces for emotional grounding
Interactive Sensory Stations – Hands-on materials, sensory bins, and fidget tools
Outside the Bus:
Pop-Up Sensory Play Area – Outdoor play stations with movement-based, nature-inspired activities
Gardening & Mindfulness – Hands-on experiences to help kids connect with nature
Creative Play & Art – Nature-based crafts that encourage sensory exploration
This two-part experience ensures that children can engage in sensory exploration inside and outside, giving them options to move, play, and grow in a way that suits their needs.

We’re raising $15,000 to complete the Sensory Bus with:
Essential sensory materials – Calming lights, tactile walls, adaptive seating
Outdoor sensory play supplies – Pop-up tents, gardening materials, sensory bins/supplies
Every dollar helps us create a space where all children feel safe, included, and celebrated.
