Inclusive and Accessible Improv at Tellin' Tales

Join us in making a difference. We are raising funds to support the Tellin’ Tales Improv Team, “What’s Yours Like?” comprised of improvisers with and without disabilities. The team follows Tellin' Tales Theatre’s mission "to shatter barriers between the disabled and non-disabled worlds through the transformative power of personal story" and brings it to the world of improv.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully as performers and audience members. We inspect performance spaces to make sure mobility and technology concerns are met. We strive to include ASL and Audio Description to increase accessibility.

We recently completed a successful run at iO and have had requests from various improv venues to bring our team to their venue. Our next scheduled run will be in February. We are looking for funds to cover the additional costs of providing access to everyone on the team and in the audience. All contributions make a difference!
