Inclusive & Creative Sculptural Accessory Design

Welcome! My name is Pyper Wyn Davies, designer and founder of AurKiid, an inclusive creative design house, focusing on unique and sculptural accessories.
I am a designer, artist, art director, graphic designer and entrepreneur. My dream has always been to create beautiful objects that bring joy, humor, and fantasy to individuals' lives. Living in a world filled with beauty through design ignites a brightness that washes away the mundanity of everyday life.
I have always been an outlier, a person who moves to the beat of their own drum. I encourage and support people to be their most authentic selves. And what better way to showcase our perfect individuality than by using our bodies as a canvas to express our unique stories?
This is why fashion and accessories hold an important place in my heart and in my life. These are not arbitrary things, these are tools we can use to communicate and connect. If a single object I create brings even one person joy, then everything I have done up until this point has great meaning.
AurKiid, the name, is a nod to my favorite flower. The oldest flower in the world, one that exists on every continent (save for Antarctica), and one of the most diverse species on the planet. A flower that works in perfect harmony with its surroundings, through adaptation and exquisite creativity. I draw great inspiration from these plants.
AurKiid in its full-fledged maturity will bloom into a complete design house. A vehicle to generate a wide range of beautiful objects and wearable art.
The first step toward this vision is to focus on one lane of design; Jewelry.
I have been making jewelry since I can remember. It has always been a meditation.
My line will be sculptural, unique, visionary, beautiful and bizarre. Organic fused with Sci-fi, soft curves mixed with angles. The absurd dancing with the refined. Textural, and sleek. Playful, sophisticated, and otherworldly. A dance of juxtapositions. Placing our hands and our feet in many different worlds.
I have been working on this line for a long while. I have taught myself many new skills, including wax sculpture, mold making, and resin casting. I have spent a lot of time in the research and development stage and learning about product specifications, findings, metal applications, materials, and general problem-solving.
I'm finally at a new stage, where I have to hire a CAD (computer-aided design) designer, to take all the work I have done so far and translate it into a digital format. The CAD version of my work will allow me to expand my design process to new heights, creating more complex, durable, lightweight jewelry. It will also allow me to scale up production, and easily keep up with demand, so my business can grow quickly and efficiently.
I will use these CAD drawings to have my work printed in 3-D resin. I can apply these same principles to add metal-based jewelry to my collection. And this is merely the beginning.
I am asking for $5,000 in donations, to help propel my dream forward. Your donation is deeply appreciated.
The money raised will go towards:
- Hiring and working closely with a CAD designer
- Materials, resin, mica, silver, earring findings, small setting tones etc.
- 3-D printing costs
- Website design and fee
- Packaging
Thank you!
