Inclusive Play for Special Needs in Reno

Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, included, and understood.

Growing up with a sister who has special needs, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that families like mine face. Finding spaces where she could play freely, feel included, and truly belong was nearly impossible. Traditional playgrounds and activity centers weren’t built for her needs, often leaving her overwhelmed or left out.

That experience shaped my passion for working with individuals with special needs and advocating for more inclusive spaces. Now, I’m turning that passion into action by creating My Haven – Reno’s first sensory indoor playground and gym designed specifically for kids and young adults with special needs.

What is My Haven?

My Haven will be a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging space where individuals with special needs can:

✅ Play in a sensory-friendly environment tailored to their needs

✅ Develop social and motor skills through interactive, adaptive activities

✅ Be part of a supportive community where they are fully accepted

✅ Give parents and caregivers peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are safe and happy

Unlike anything currently available in Reno, My Haven will be a place where every individual, no matter their abilities, feels like they belong.
