Inclusive Playground at Joan of Arc Complex- PS333

This initiative is to develop and implement a model inclusive playground in New York City that reflects core principles of inclusion, quality of life, sustainability and participation. Through these principles we envision a community of socially interdependent and responsible people who participate in shared practices that define and nurture it. Manhattan School for Children (PS333), Community Action School (MS258) and Lafayette Academy (MS256), which comprise the Joan of Arc Complex located at 154 W 93rd Street, believe inclusion needs to be intentional and together we are advocating for a playground design and process that reflects this vision of inclusive community.
