Please help Nicole w her mounting medical bills

Hello everyone! My name is Maria and I want to share some information about my dear friend, Nicole Martinelli who many call Nikki. I have known Nicole for almost 30 years now. She is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She is the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, even to a person she just met. She loves with all her heart. She loves life. I can tell you this girl, always has a smile on her face. She will help you however she can if you are in need. She may have stopped being a New York Rangers fan once she moved to Florida, but we cannot judge her for this.

The last two years she was dealt a very shitty hand in life. At the age of 40 she fought two forms of cancer. Now at the age of 42, she is preparing to fight her third battle but this time against ovarian cancer. We all know the health care system isn't what it used to be and bills have piled up for Nicole and will continue to pile up as she endures more surgery and treatments. She's had a stressful few years and I would like to try to alleviate some of that stress by helping out a little bit with her medical bills. Please take a few minutes to read Nicole's message below. *Message from Nicole*

After 18 months in remission after beating both Breast and Kidney Cancers, I was settling happily into a new chapter without the rollercoaster of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. But, life has thrown me in the ring for a third fight, this time against a very rare form of Ovarian Cancer. It’s like playing a bad game of ‘Whack-A-Mole” and it’s not much fun. As I prepare again to face surgery, treatment and all its uncertainties, the financial strain has proven to be the hardest part.

Many of you have helped me in successful fundraising for the American Cancer Society, but I now find myself truly in need of direct financial assistance. Despite having health insurance, the mounting medical bills coupled with missed time at work resulting significant loss of income, I’m left severely struggling to make ends meet. It’s like my savings account has ghosted me after a bad date. Please know this decision to reach out for assistance was not made lightly, but with the hopes that your support can ease the intensifying financial burden.
