India Skinners funeral

Hi my names samantha & along with all the family we are fundraising for my brother Jason to help plan the perfect send off for his beautiful wife India who sadly past away.

Here's a bit about indias story ❤️

India became pregnant with there 1st daughter Harper back in 2018 throughout her pregnancy doctors noticed a small dermoid cyst while doing a routine scan they kept an eye on the cyst during & after the pregnancy. After having Harper India fell pregnant with there 2nd daughter Willow in 2019. They monitored the cyst again & after having Willow more checks/tests where done & India was given the bad news she had soft tissue sarcoma.

She had surgery to remove the sarcoma in Birmingham in January 2020.

And for a while things where looking up but then in January 2021 she went for a check up scan to be told the devastating news it was back & worse she wasn't one to give up tho & asked for every option they had so she started her 1st round of chemo in May 2021 but that wasn't successful so her next option was a drug. She was told there was a very low chance that this drug would even work but she had to give it ago because there wasn't many options but sadly that was unsuccessful aswell.

In the August 2021 India & Jason got married it was a beautiful day full of wonderful memories & helped raise her spirts ❤️

Her last option was another round of chemo which started end of August this time the chemo didn't make India feel to good but she gave it another in go December & sadly she had a reaction called Stephens-Johnson syndrome. No one was to know that this would happen & India became very poorly from this & spent some time in hospital not being able to see her girls during this time because she was so poorly. Not giving up on what she wanted that young mother managed to fight & she became strong enough to come home and be with her family once again They went on there 1st family holiday abroad & made lovely memories & came home to celebrate there daughter Harpers 4th birthday with family but shortly after she became ill again & had to return to hospital where sadly on Saturday 9th July at the age of 24 India lilly Kate Skinner surrounded by loved ones lost her battle.

She was a fighter till the end & will truly be missed ❤️
