Indiana Grad Workers Campaign for More Say & Pay
Donation protected
Indiana University graduate workers (IGWC-UE) are fighting for a living wage and a seat at the bargaining table. Your donation helps us to better organize graduate workers, run more events, and prepare for future action should the administration refuse to recognize our union.
Update April 17: On April 15, after months of hard work and no response from the administration, we voted to authorize a strike. On April 16, faculty voted no confidence in President Whitten, Provost Shrivastav, and Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs Carrie Docherty. For the next three days, we'll be on the picket lines fighting for recognition and a raise. We wish we didn't have to strike. We wish we could have a bargaining relationship with this administration. But they've made it loud and clear that they won't hear us unless we stand up and strike! Your donations make sure that we can fight back against our hostile administrators and build an IU that works better for everyone.
