Indigenous Community Support

Roberth and Mollie are raising money to help regenerate the wealth, culture, and well-being of the indigenous Bribri people in Talamanca, Costa Rica. Centuries of colonization has left the Bribri people struggling with oppression, poverty, and loss of culture, land, and livelihood. With this money, we will create structures to help the families generate income by growing and distributing food and other products to local areas. We will organize community gatherings and events that will help to educate and empower the Bribri people, and help them reconnect with their culture and ancient traditions. We are also building a shamanic healing center in the community that will provide sacred healing for the Bribri people, and will also allow visitors to come stay, exchange knowledge, and support the community from the inside.
