Individuals experiencing homelessness

I am a physician assistant student currently on rotation with the Valley Health Partners Street Medicine team. This incredible group of people serves the homeless population of the Lehigh Valley. Each day, they venture onto the streets to bring medical care and support to a variety of individuals experiencing homelessness, those without insurance, and others facing financial hardships. This team includes professionals in certified recovery, criminal justice, social work, behavior health, and medicine to provide a wholistic and humanistic approach to patients in whatever way they need regardless of ability to pay. Additionally, through donations, the team is able to offer items for survival such as buss passes to reach medical appointments, gift cards for gas, tents, sleeping bags, clothing, batteries, and other household items. The winter months are especially difficult for the homeless population and I would like to collect funds to directly donate to the street medicine team to provide further resources to the community in need. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.
