In memory of Indy Grace - support for the Spain’s
Donation protected
On July 11th, Shannon and Austin Spain welcomed their twin baby girls into the world at 29 weeks via emergency c-section. The reason is due to abnormalities with their twin Indy Grace’s placenta and umbilical cord. It was showing inconsistent blood flow and as soon as the blood began to back flow back to her heart, it was time to intervene because it was no longer safe for her inside the womb. Delivery of one, resulted in delivery of the other which is why their twin Eleanor was born prematurely as well. For the next four months every day in the NICU would prove to be a roller coaster of high high’s and low low’s. Eleanor was able to go home with Austin and Shannon on August 20th, just a little over a month of being in the NICU. Indy Grace fought EVERY DAY to try to make it home to her twin sister. What a little warrior she was…infection after infection, surgery after surgery, mountains and mountains she climbed, but God took her home on November 22nd.
“Tonight we said goodbye to our tiniest, mightiest, feistiest, little fighter there ever was. Indy was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive form of leukemia and there were no other measures we could have taken to save her life.
Today has been emotional, exhausting, overwhelming…we are at a loss of words but are trying to find comfort knowing she’s with the Lord and no longer sick.
We were so close to taking you home baby girl. So close. But the Lord brought you to an even better home. We love you more than we will ever be able to say, Indy Grace. We fought so hard for you. We wish we could have done more. We tried so hard. We love you. We will see you one day”
All they are asking for is prayer, and they are receiving and being covered in them continuously. Now I’m here asking if you feel it in your heart or feel like you are being led to help this couple and their twins financially, to donate here.
