Assistance funds for Infinity M.S.T's students

We are teachers from Infinity Math Science & Technology high school located in the  Little Village community.   Little Village has been one of the areas most impacted by Covid-19.  Many in this community have not been fortunate enough to work from home or to received Federal aid.  Families in our community have continued to go to work to support their families.  Thus putting themselves at higher risk of contracting the virus. While our students should be worrying about finals, prom and graduation they have now been put in situations that don't allow them to.  Several of our students have had to put school on the back burner to help pay rent, utilities and put food on the table.  We are asking you to please help us alleviate financial  stressors that our students and their families are feeling.  We plan on distributing  the funds to at least 20 families.  We will be distributing it to students that have already emailed us about their parents' loss of employment, those students that have taken on jobs and families that were already struggling financially before the pandemic.
With the school year coming to a close, we would like to give the funds to our students within the next 2 weeks.  We are not sure what additional hardships the summer months will bring.  But, we are hopeful that with your help we can meet our goal and address the issues that have already been brought to us.  Thank you so much for your support!
