Injured 6-month Aurora Baby
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Julie Peters and I’m the grandmother of this 6-month old.
On 7/2, Gun Club Rd, Aurora there was an accident involving 5 people. Sadly, these are all people I know and all were injured. The 6-month old baby, who was ejected from the vehicle, is my granddaughter. I cannot talk about the accident or about the individuals not related to me, as it’s still under investigation and involve minors.
My granddaughter was ejected from the vehicle and thrown to the road. Luckily, a car passing noticed the screaming baby and stopped to rescue her. By the grace of God, it is a miracle she survived!!
My son, the father of the baby was not with them and could use some help. He has his own business and has not worked since the accident, to be by his daughter’s side. My granddaughter has road rash, is bruised on several parts of her body, and has a concussion. All the sores on her head are heart breaking. Through all the pain, she still manages to occasionally smile. The sleepless nights, for both baby and dad, are caused by the baby awakening from nightmares and crying. Even holding her, causes her pain.
Donations would help towards lost wages, hospital/doctor bills and the purchase of a car seat and stroller (current ones are non-usable.)
All donations are greatly appreciated by the Peters’ family. Prayers are also welcome.
