Injured and Homeless

Hi my name is Paris. Adulthood hasn’t been easy for me, and I’ve found myself homeless more often than not. I was sleeping on my friend’s floor, however I am now currently living in a shelter. I have been saving up to buy a car, but I just hit several major setbacks. I got injured at work. I know you’re thinking “what about workers comp?” My job has taken me off the schedule for over a month as well as not making any moves to compensate me properly. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, I am missing a paycheck and have been met with resistance from everyone I speak to. I am seeking help to purchase a car, and possibly short term housing. I can use the car for shelter as well as work, so I just would like to get that handled first. Every single dollar counts, so if you are able, I could really use the assistance. Thank you in advance!
