Injured and without income

Hello, my name is Jenny Cornejo, I am an organizer with Unidad Latina en Accion, and I would like to ask if you can help an individual who has been unable to work and without income for months. I would like to tell you about Edgar Becerra, he was brought to Connecticut from Guatemala by MDF, a painting company to work in August of 2023. They promised him housing and work. He was injured in September, when he fell off a ladder, due to lack of safety equipment. He went to Yale, he has back and hip problems and is no longer able to work. MDF and the insurance company are refusing to pay him anything. MDF tried to evict Edgar from his home and when he went to court and won the eviction case, they immediately filed another that he is battling with now. He is in desperate need to pay his bills and care for his family remaining in Guatemala.
