Injured Dog Needs Your Help for Recovery

This precious dog who is in my care got loose by jumping my fence. I had no knowledge that she could even jump a fence or would after being with me for a week. She decided to go over the fence and took off through town. Immediately, we started looking for her. Thankfully, last night I got a call after posting her everywhere and was told where she possibly was. So, I went to the area where I was told to go, and lo and behold, this woman had her, and now she is home safe.

The problem is she got hit by a car when she was out. She has a little gash, not very big, on her leg flank area. She can walk, but she does it very carefully because it hurts her. Trying to get her to lay down is difficult, and she's not able to drink water on her own. Although I have an IV bottle and I am experienced in using it, it won't last if there's something going on inside of her. She looks like she might have a little swelling on her hip and also on her lower flank. She did eat, but as I said, she will not take any water. Where she was hit is where the spleen lies next to the stomach and the kidneys.

I need to have her seen; however, financially, I am not able to at this moment. I run a cat rescue which is voluntary, and I am totally out of funds at the moment. I have 21 cats in my care that are indoor and have a big cage that goes outdoor, but unfortunately, their food and litter, among other animals I also own, are very expensive. Me and my autistic grandson are working very diligently to try to raise funds to have her at least seen. Anything and all will help. Hopefully, it's nothing serious, and it's just her being sore, but I can't determine that myself.

So, if you can help this beautiful dog, she's a very good dog and very friendly, loves all dogs. It's hard that I don't have the means to help her. I took her in because she had nowhere else to be. Please, if you can help. I know I must get her seen as soon as possible. Thank you.
