Injured Stray German Shepherd Mix

Just in the nick of time I was rescued today! Somehow weeks ago I ended up on the streets of Philadelphia. I have literally been running for sometime. During that time I injured my back paw pretty badly, hardly ate any food and was trying to keep cool from that summer heat. I was fortuate that Quinn Rowan posted a message about me on some kind of social media where many sweet and kind people all communciated about my whereabouts. Goodness how famous was I :) Today, I found shelter in a school parking lot, exhausted and hungry where Lisa Batya spotted me. I wasn't ready I needed a few more hours limping around in that blazzing philly heat. So I took off and thanks to Lisa Batya she posted on social media my next move. Then a nice lady by the name of Laura Hunter saw me pass by running down Woodstock street--I just love the peanut gallery so I enjoyed hanging around Woodstock here and there! However, I was tired , hurt, hot, dehydrated and scared out of my mind! I kept running and thankfully Melissa Everett came by on her bike and somehow got me trapped inside a backyard on Uber street! At that point I had nothing more left inside of me! My heart ached and I needed HELP. I was very nervous however with lots of water, treats and her sweet voice Melissa was capturing my heart. Lisa Batya showed up to keep Melissa company and then a nice man appeared named, Matt who brought some bacon! That bacon just did it for me! Melissa was able to get the leash around me! I was done running! I needed help or today I might have died. Melissa and Lisa drove me to VSEC where they are giving me a chance at life! Instead of sending me off to a shelter where I most likely would have been euthanized they are helping me! Sadly, I was told that my back paw will need to be amputated. I am in a lot of pain, scared, and tired. But I am SAFE! The cost of my surgery and care will cost a lot so please anything will help. Thank you to eveyone that helped bring me to safety!! much love, "Woodstock"
