In Loving Memory of Olivia

Dear friends and family,
My name is Aleena del Rosario and I am writing to you with a heavy heart. On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, my mother Maria Olivia del Rosario entered eternal rest.
She tragically took her life after a silent struggle with inner turmoil and now, as her only child, I am left to cope with the aftermath of her passing. Her loss comes as a shock to our family, as she tried her hardest to make sure we didn’t see her pain. Although she was dealt a rough hand from the get-go, she constantly persevered through life’s challenges. The pain is indescribable, but I am determined to honor her memory in a way that reflects the magnificent soul she was.
Throughout her life, my mother touched countless hearts with her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love. As a talented hairstylist of over thirty years, she helped her clients feel beautiful and confident in their appearance. Not only was she a shining light in the community, she was also a wonderful mother, sister, and aunt. She was extremely close with her niece Gwen, who viewed her as a second mother. Her other nieces Jailene, Julenia, and Jennalee remember her as the life of the party and for her fun-loving nature. She hosted every family gathering at her home, serving as the glue that kept our family connection strong. She was well-known for her love of all cats, including the neighborhood strays who gathered on her porch deck every day, and was a great mother to her fur babies Muddy and Monroe. She has touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.
We humbly ask for donations to help cover funeral expenses; any contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. More information on Olivia's celebration of life to come soon.
With love,
Aleena del Rosario and family
