Jemima Weaver fundraiser 

With great sorrow I would like to share the sad news about a local young Christian (Mennonite) family, our dear neighbors on Jordanville Road. They are dairy farmers, who supplied our community with fresh organic "Amish" milk. Many families here have experienced their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to help their neighbors. 

Jemima's husband, Enos, was taken to the ER with a heart attack on May 16th 2023, and passed away the next day, May 17th, leaving behind his wife and six young children (ages 2 through 12), as well as a farm with eighty animals to take care of. They did not have any helpers at the farm and Enos did all the hard farm work alone, while Jemima was taking care of children. The farm is still in mortgage and now the family lost their only provider. 

Furthermore, Enos and Jemima lost their baby girl during childbirth three months ago.  And now Enos' sudden death. This poor family will now grieve for both souls. Memory Eternal! 

Enos was only 34 years old. He was a faithful, hardworking, kind, and patient man. He truly lived by God's commandments to love God and love your neighbor. He will be greatly missed. 

Please say a prayer for Enos and his surviving family, Jemima and the children (Shirley, Molly, Joshua, Sally, Nancy and Noah). They are Mennonites (Amish lifestyle with some technology), meaning they don't have a support system of "the world" and rely on themselves to support their families. The family will have to bear the hospital expenses and, in general, will have to figure out how to sustain the farm with no man to do the work. 

Any donation, big or small, will help the family to get through this shock, and cover some initial expenses.  All proceeds will be transferred directly to Jemima.
