Insieme x Rebecca

Questa è la storia toccante e commovente di una ragazzina di 17 anni che vive a Forno Canavese, in Provincia di Torino. Rebecca è afflitta da una rarissima malattia la malformazione di Chiari 1, una sindrome da ipotensione liquorale. Dopo otto lunghissimi anni, trascorsi tra ricoveri e quattordici interventi neurochirurgici negli Stati Uniti e in Germania, nel Maggio del 2020 dopo l' ultimo intervento, lo stato di salute di Rebecca sembrava migliorare di giorno in giorno, poi purtroppo dalla metà di Febbraio 2022 la situazione ha ripreso a peggiorare. A Giugno 2023 è stata ricoverata in una clinica in Spagna, purtroppo senza ottenere miglioramenti fino allo stato attuale. Ora la famiglia di Rebecca dopo aver affrontato con i propri risparmi circa € 240.000,00 le spese necessarie per gli interventi e le terapie sopra citati si trova in grande difficoltà a sostenere ulteriori costi, per far fronte alle sempre più indispensabili terapie e visite specialistiche. Per questo motivo, in collaborazione con l’associazione Noi Ci Siamo Onlus la famiglia di Rebecca, ha deciso di creare un fondo per sostenere questo importante e oneroso impegno.

This is the touching and moving story of a 17-year-old girl who lives in Forno Canavese, in the Province of Turin. After eight very long years, spent between hospitalizations and fourteen neurosurgical operations in the United States and Germany, in May 2020 after the last operation, Rebecca's state of health seemed to improve day by day, then unfortunately from mid-February 2022 her situation began to worsen again. In June 2023 she was admitted to a clinic in Spain, unfortunately without obtaining improvements to the current state. Now Rebecca's family, after having faced the expenses necessary for the interventions and therapies mentioned above with their savings of around €240,000.00, is in great difficulty in incurring further costs, to cope with the increasingly essential therapies and specialist visits. For this reason, in collaboration with the Noi Ci Siamo Onlus association, Rebecca's family decided to create a fund to support this important and costly commitment.

Oggi vi scriviamo con il cuore in mano per chiedere il vostro aiuto per una giovane ragazza che ha bisogno di tutto il nostro sostegno. Rebecca, una splendida diciottenne, sta lottando con tutte le sue forze contro una malattia rarissima chiamata Sindrome di Dunbar. Questa malattia, che colpisce solo poche persone in tutto il mondo, ha reso la vita di Rebecca e della sua famiglia un vero e proprio calvario.

Da quando aveva solo 9 anni, Rebecca ha dovuto affrontare 14 interventi neurochirurgici, oltre a innumerevoli visite specialistiche. La sua battaglia l'ha portata negli Stati Uniti, dove le cure mediche sono estremamente costose. La famiglia di Rebecca ha speso tutti i risparmi accumulati in una vita, ben 240.000 euro, per garantire che lei riceva le cure necessarie. Ora, si trovano in una situazione disperata e hanno bisogno del nostro aiuto per continuare a dare a Rebecca una speranza di vita.
