Inspirational Kristy-lee's last wishes.

Hi, my name is Kylie and I am fundraising on behalf of Kristy-lee Townes.

Kristy-lee was born with Cystic Fibrosis. She wasn't meant to live past 5 years old but has thundered through that life expectancy, bewildering the doctors with her stubborn will to live.

Kristy has suffered immeasurably throughout her life, yet she has managed to be a constant rock for her friends & family. Kristy is always the first person offering to help anyone in need, even putting her own health second to do so.

Kristy-lee has endured two double lung transplants, first in 2013 then in 2019. Since the second transplant Kristy had had blood clots, fluid on the lungs, a collapsed lung, dialysis, chest infections, chronic muscle fatigue, pneumonia & recently covid 19. The recent covid 19and previous infections has caused irreparable damage to her lungs.

Unfortunately the doctors have given Kristy & her family the devastating news that the resources of modern medicine have been exhausted and her time is now limited.

Kristy is a fighter & will fight until the very end but there are things she would like to do, one being a holiday on the Gold Coast, creating memories with her family. Funds raised would also be put towards funeral expenses, allowing her family to honour her wishes & give Kristy-lee the send off she deserves.

I am hoping together we can help her & the family achieve that.
