My name is Maria, and I am asking for help to heal.

About eleven years ago, I noticed a small lump on the side of my breast. I have always received care from Naturopathic doctors since my 20's after an injury that was mistreated in "western" medicine. So in 2019 I sought the help of a Naturopath in Cleveland Hts., Dr. Erin Singh.

I was immediately brought in as an oncology patient and treated as if this lump was cancer with a nutrition and supplemental program which I followed for 2 years to close the open wound the lump had become. I even tried Mistletoe therapy, which was very new at the time. The diet and supplemental program healed the wound, and it stayed closed as long as I stuck to the program.

All of this was out of pocket and put a terrible financial strain on my husband and I, as visits ranged from $300 -$600 and the supplements were around $300 - $400 per month. I slowly started to reduce the supplements due to lack of funds, and the lump began to grow and became and open wound again in 2023. I currently have stabbing pain in my armpit with a large lump and nasty scar that is beginning to affect my daily life.

I am seeking help to fund my return to Naturopathic medicine. The cost has almost doubled in the few years since I have seen Dr. Singh.

I currently work as a hostess and a yoga instructor to supplement the small business my husband and I co-own and work together since 2006. I care for my 91 year old mother who relies on me to cook, grocery shop and keep her comfortable in her home.

I choose Naturopathic medicine because I have a firm belief that the human body can heal if given the proper support. I am, quite literally, living proof. Please help me return to get the treatment I believe in.
