Varnam Salon Deutschland - to preserve & inspire

ABOUT US:

We are a team of 3 that provides a platform for the upcoming Bharatanatyam dancers in Germany. By way of performance and discussion, we learn about and explore what this timeless art form still gives us today.

Varnam  Salon Deutschland  is the German edition of the program originally ideated in California USA 

REASON: 

1. Bharatanatyam dancers, who are practicing this rich art form away from its soil, will get the chance to research and explore rare pieces.

2. As a recurring event, VSD aims to bridge the gap between the audience and performers.

3. Through dialogue, we wish to promote and support Bharatanatyam and its endless expansion.

The funds are collected to honor the artists, marketing and promotion of the event, and bringing this rare heritage up close to you. Additional funds will be used for the next Varnam Salon. 

Planned as a bi-annual program, phase 1 of this event will be in Spring 2021 online.
