Install turf at Hillcrest Village Green Park

Our City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department park at Hillcrest Village, known as Hillcrest Village Green, needs a more resilient field to support the family friendly environment that has grown since its construction.

Our group, the Friends of Hillcrest Village Green (Friends of HVG), is working with the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department to raise the funds needed to install artificial turf. Dallas Park and Recreation is going to be able to fund a large portion of the park and the owners of the complex are

also donating a large sum. The Friends of HVG has been asked to show the communities’ support of the project by raising $30,000.

If you have been to the park recently you know that it is in rough shape. It gets so much more traffic than any other park in the city and the Parks Department cannot keep up

with the maintenance. When maintenance is needed, the green is closed and the businesses and our residents suffer. Installation of turf will allow the park to be used year-round and continue to be the wonderful asset to our community.
