Interdependence and Caring for a Sustainable Future

Hello. My name is Robby Collins and I believe we are missing a very important ingredient for a sustainable future. Carbon footprint analyses and sustainable business strategies are everywhere. Systems thinking has found its way back to center stage, but what about us? You know… us humans who make things happen. Who is helping us to understand how we must interact in this ever-changing world? It is time we start talking about the missing ingredient, B-Behaviours.

I have always felt I am meant to do something spectacular. My life has either shaped or confirmed this feeling. Until now, my something spectacular has been building a craft brewery in the Swiss Alps with the purpose to make the world a better place one beer at a time. This idea was brewed up through a mixture of life experiences, some opened my eyes, others brought me to my knees. Yet, all have shaped who I am and how I act in the world.

After many years of back breaking work, my body can no longer hold up to the physical demands of a craft brewery. I must accept my limitations, and double down on my mission to make the world a better place. With the brewery in good hands, I have decided to pursue a doctoral degree, and to close the research gap on behaviours for a sustainable future. I call these behaviours B-Behaviours.

My research proposal has been accepted by the Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) and I am set to begin my research in November, 2024. GEM is a top management school in France with a strong interest in sustainability. The program will last three years and costs 50,000 Euros.

This is where I need your help. Current market conditions prevent 7Peaks Brasserie from supporting this investment. Additionally, I am not in a position to pay these fees as my salary from the brewery is often used for paying suppliers and employees. I need your support!

In exchange for your donation, I will make all of my research and findings available to all. I have created a website (bbehaviours.com) where all information relevant to my research can be found. I will also make myself available for questions and detailed discussions throughout the research journey. Please follow along in this much needed B-Behavioral research.
