Intermountain Indian School Gathering

This fundraiser is on behalf of the Intermountain Indian School alumni. They continue to organize and gather to help preserve and share the histories of this former federal Indian boarding school.

The Intermountain Indian School intertribal alumni plan to gather again in Brigham City, Utah, near the grounds of the original Intermountain Indian Boarding School site from September 9-10, 2022. We are working with the Intermountain alumni, including Lorina Steah Antonio, to plan the activities and events for the reunion.

This major fundraising campaign will help to inform and reach out to the general public about these initiatives to support the reunion and plans of the Intermountain Indian School alumni. The alumni want to repaint the “I” on the mountainside since the paint was already wearing off from their work last year.

The donations will also cover the costs of food and other related expenses for the Intermountain alumni gathering on September 9-10, 2022, in Brigham City.
