Internal Medicine Resident Lounge Fund

We, the internal medicine residents at the University of Illinois at Chicago, have been working hard to keep our community safe throughout the COVID pandemic. While we love our job, this takes a toll on our wellness. We are hoping to improve our resident lounge, which serves as our home away from home, work space, cafeteria and more, while continuing to serve our community.

We are trying to rejuvenate our space with an air filter, chairs and a table to eat at, a bookshelf to keep study materials and fun books for a break, a safe space to store belongings etc.
