[internally screaming]: comedies on capitalism
Donation protected
My name is Brandon Fleischer, and I am the writer and director of a new show, [internally screaming]: comedies on capitalism. I have spent the last three years writing and re-writing these eight comedic one-act plays, and I am so excited to finally put them in front of an audience this February for the world premiere at The Tank in New York City.
But, producing theater is not cheap. While The Tank is providing the venue, I am otherwise producing this show myself. Moreover, I believe very strongly in paying artists for their time and work, so all members of the cast, as well as the production manager, are being paid for this production. Add in props, costumes, and marketing, and it becomes expensive very fast.
So, I am asking for donations in the hopes of raising $5,200 to support this production and make sure it is the best version of my work that it can possibly be. This show is my first full-length theatrical production, and any amount you can give will be deeply appreciated.
Some examples of how your donations will help:
- $50 will cover one of our favorite props: the Man Cards
- $100 will cover the costumes for the show
- $300 will cover a month of rehearsal space
- If you're feeling particularly generous, larger amounts will help us pay the actors and crew
No amount is too small -- or too large! Whatever you are able to give will make a huge difference -- thank you for supporting our show!
