International Island Games 2023 - Freya Taylor

As some of you may already know, I am proud to have been selected to run at the International Island Games 2023 held in Guernsey. https://guernsey2023.gg/

I will be representing the Isle Of Wight Athletics Team and I am incredibly happy to have been given this opportunity as a young developing athlete. As I am only 15 years old and still in High School I feel privileged that I have been given this opportunity at such a young age.

My athletics journey started at the Isle Of Wight Athletics Club at the age of 8. Since then I have dedicated my time between my training schedule, competing throughout the country with cross-country running and track running events. Wanting to reach the goal of competing at the Island Games and now I have been given this opportunity.

I’m looking to raise funds to help me represent the Isle of Wight at the games as this is a self-funded event. It would be amazing if anyone could support me allowing me to compete in Guernsey. If you can help it would be massively appreciated.
