International Repair Day 2023 - CC4D

Hi, I am Mathew Lubari, Executive Director CC4D and I am organizing an event in Rhino Camp Refugee Settlement in October 2023 to promote International Repair Day.

The event will bring together people, including community members, UN Agency members and humanitarian organizations to raise awareness and engage in repair.

Last year we held a successful event in Uganda and this year in addition to doing events in Uganda, we would like to have an event in South Sudan for the first time ever.

The events will cost an estimated €4,000/47000SEK to cover communication and marketing, hire of venue, logistics, refreshment and video documentation.

Therefore, we are asking for your contribution to make this happen.

Any contribution counts! We appreciate your help in helping us raise awareness and positive action for repair in Uganda and South Sudan!

*Why is this fundraiser in Swedish kronor? Gofundme only works in selected countries, so we are working with Jessika Richter from Repair Cafe Malmö in Sweden to help facilitate this fundraiser. LIke last year, the funds will be transferred from Sweden to CC4D.
