International Aphasia Choir

The International Aphasia Choir was founded by Dr. Gillian Velmer (Speech-Language Pathologist) from Sing Aphasia and Trent Barrick (Neurologic Music Therapist) from Neuro Music Therapy, LLC.

We hope you enjoyed the International Aphasia Choir’s debut video! We loved singing “What A Wonderful World” with members of our community around the world. If you haven’t watched it yet, view it here.

Our goal for this GoFundMe page is to raise funds to produce our next video. Funds will be used towards purchasing equipment (e.g., computer, microphones, headphones), and payment towards our video producer, audio engineer, and choir directors who will help put our next video together. 

If you have the means to support us, we would greatly appreciate it. Any amount will help us reach our goal.

We’ll be able to thank all donors who give $20-$49 by giving a special shout-out on the Sing Aphasia and Neuro Music Therapy, LLC's social media pages.

If you donate between $50-$99, you will receive by giving a special shout-out on the Sing Aphasia and Neuro Music Therapy, LLC's social media pages as well as on our website for one year after our next video premieres.

Anyone who donates $100 or above will have their name mentioned in the credits as a valued supporter, in addition to shout-outs on our social media pages and our websites.

All donors will be invited to an early preview of the next video once it's ready in July 2022.
