Internet scammer stole Kodys savings

Today is Kodys 29th birthday! Today should be a happy day…….As many of you know our youngest son Kody is autistic. His whole life has been a struggle but he has always moves forward and never gives up. He is a hard worker. He has worked at little Caesars pizza for almost 9 years. He also works at the YMCA child care program. He does a great job, he is always is on time, he works hard and always available to work. He has been saving his money for a long time. He was hoping to get his own place in the next few years. His kind heart and thoughtfulness for others has had a devastating outcome. Many people with autism are bullied and have very little to no friends. Kody met what he thought was a “friend” on a video game website. This person manipulated kody. He told kody his mom was dying and he needed money, she died and he needed funeral expenses, he going to kill himself if he doesn’t get money. He told kody he would pay him back. This person is a thief and a scammer who preys on vulnerable people. We realize this could of been far worse. Kody is absolutely devastated. Please have a conversation with your loved ones. The internet can be a dangerous place . I pray this gets to other families before it’s too late. Thank you
