Here at The Ballarat TGD Clothing Swap Shop, we're excited to announce a new chapter! We're aiming to create a vibrant shop-front that goes beyond clothing – it will be a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTIQA+ community, while offering the broader community a chance to support a great cause.
What We're Building:
- A Thriving Thrift Shop: This volunteer-run shop will provide valuable experience for LGBTIQA+ members, fostering confidence and skills in retail. We'll offer a welcoming environment for everyone, with fairly priced, high-quality items (think "all pants - $4").
- Safe Space for All: The shop will be open for public shopping during the day, staffed by friendly volunteers. For those seeking extra privacy, "after hours" shopping by appointment will be available.
- Continued Support: Existing services like "The Binder Project" and community events will continue to thrive!

We've secured a fantastic location on Sturt Street, but getting it up and running requires your support. Your donation will help us cover the initial bond and rent, allowing us to open our doors and start making a difference!
