Intubation Box

We are a small group of volunteers helping hospitals across the East Coast by sourcing and manufacturing polycarbonate boxes for use by medical professionals during intubation procedures.

These boxes are modified version of the aerosol / intubation box based on the design from Dr. Lai Hsien-Yung in Taiwan.This version is sized 22"x26"x16", uses a 3rd port hole, and manufactured using .220" (5.5mm) clear polycarbonate for added durability in transport and cleaning.

The COVID-19 virus remains highly contagious and these boxes serve as an additional layer of protection when aerosol generating procedures are performed.

Use of Donations and intended recipients:

100% of donations will be used to pay 3rd-party manufacturing companies to make the boxes and to cover distribution costs associated with shipping the boxes directly to hospitals. Currently the cost to manufacturer and ship each box is approximately $200.

We currently have over 40 hospitals and requests for over 100 boxes to date. 

All proceeds will be used in the creation shipping of these boxes and getting them into the hands of medical professionals as soon as possible.
