Invest Collegiate: Transform Junior Beta Club

https://www.ictransform.org/our-school

For the first time ever, the elementary and middle school Champions of INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform’s Junior BETA Club have earned the opportunity to attend the 2019 Junior BETA National Conference! Over 50 students, whom we call Champions, and chaperones will make the trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from June 14-18, 2019 to compete for national recognition in academics and the arts.  Our Champions showed up and showed out at the Junior BETA state competition in Greensboro bringing home 11 awards.  We are asking for your help to make sure they can move forward to experience what, for some, may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

INVEST COLLEGIATE: Transform (“ICT”) is a Title I tuition-free public K-8 charter school in Charlotte, North Carolina prioritizing the development of leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving and collaborative skills in all Champions. INVEST recently received recognition from the state of North Carolina for exceeding academic growth expectations for 2017-2018 school year.

The National Beta Club is a prestigious, invitation-only honor society for elementary, middle and secondary students.  ICT first chartered a BETA club in the current 2018-2019 school year.  In this inaugural Junior BETA Club year, ICT Champions enjoyed unprecedented success, winning eleven (11) 1st through 5th Place awards at the Junior BETA State Conference, including a 1st Place finish for elementary Living Literature , 2nd Place finishes for both elementary and junior Songfest categories, 1st place in elementary individual Poetry,  2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place finishes in individual Visual Arts and Designs, and 5th place in middle school Living Literature.

For a number of Champions, their involvement with National Junior BETA has provided their first opportunity to travel outside of the Charlotte metro area.  More than that, this experience has provided true opportunity to be exposed to the trans-formative world of academic, economic and entrepreneurial possibilities available to them and to exponentially increase their prospects for economic mobility.  These Champions are the next-generation leaders for our community and beyond.

We need your support to transform this opportunity into a reality.   We are seeking individual and corporate donations at the sponsorship levels included herein, but also accept donations in any amount!
