WHO I AM...

My name is Sarah Navarra. I am the founder and CEO of a tech startup project through my company, OMADA Networking Solutions. However, I’m not your typical tech startup founder. I’m a divorced mom to 5 younger kids, over 40, and I have zero experience in the tech industry. I assure you; this all gives me a significant advantage in developing solutions. My experiences and skills outside the tech industry allow me to see beyond the obvious tech tools, such as artificial intelligence and algorithms. As a busy mom, I have the instinct to solve everyday problems, and the internet showed me a big one.

DISCOVERING THE PROBLEM...

Have your recent internet search results got you completely missing the mark? My frustration with inaccurate search results at the worst possible times prompted me to think about how I would improve the process. Finding a solution to this would help me and those around me.

THE BIGGER PROBLEM...

Internet search results are brought to the user through a function called an algorithm. Businesses, and the tech industry, have been working since the algorithm's existence to perfect it in hopes of making a machine that thinks like a human brain. Their motivation for this...eliminating human problems in the workforce. A device that responds like a human (not completely free thinking, of course) is believed to save time, money and lots of headaches for corporations. However, the algorithm is losing its superior position as THE ANSWER because it was never intended to be the sole function for 500 million users. Yet, the tech industry and corporations forge ahead in working the algorithm, hoping it will be perfected as the answer one day. The inaccurate results problem is prevalent on search engines, dating apps, job search websites, and "find-a-professional" types of platforms. If a user needs to search for anything...algorithms are the ones working to bring the results. It was clear that something was off with the algorithm. My question was, why was everyone trying to perfect the algorithm and not looking beyond it for a better solution? The answer is that tech is looking at tech and only tech, but I know the toolbox is much bigger than that.

MY SOLUTION...

My research into the history of algorithms, computers and the internet helped me evolve a simple idea into a revolutionary change for humanity. Every part of my project leads to greater evolution of the human experience...the human mind. I intend to not only bring this solution to the individual user of the internet, but this will also be a valued tool for existing applications and websites. Mutually beneficial partnerships that cultivate revenue from a simple and organic process. Businesses and entrepreneurs will find marketing campaigns with less guessing and less waste of time and money. I have not launched yet and can’t share technical details, but let me say I am putting people back into the process...making the internet interpersonal for more accuracy, ease and greater use. This process will allow people to seek and find traits, qualities and experiences in a way they were never able to. Ultimately, I'm building the perfect collaborative experience through an interpersonal search process. If my creation is valued as I envision...the accuracy, productivity and collaboration that comes from it will lead to social change and bring the value of the human experience to the forefront of our evolution. The people, not machines.

WHY I NEED DONATIONS FROM YOU ALL

In a startup, the business must be run while the product is developed. That means my business can only survive if I am successful at fundraising during this time. Startups generate funding from donations, grants, investors and loans until they launch their product. Once I launch, I will work to pay off the loans and investors and then see profits. Sounds pretty crazy, I know. Startups are usually funded by investors who believe in their mission to solve significant problems with extraordinary solutions. I didn’t even know I was building a startup at the beginning of my journey just six months ago. I was just trying to see if I could make this idea come to life. Once I started digging into the business of what that would take, I learned...surprise, I am a tech startup! I feel it in my bones; I was made for this. I quit my interior design business and went 1000% all into making my vision come to life. I couldn’t do that by myself, but I tried. While I'm researching corporate venture investors and getting ready to dive into beta testing our product, I need help paying off development and funding employees to assist with communications, marketing, social media and operations. I brought on a business attorney to help me make sound business decisions, and I will also need to bring on a trademark attorney very soon, and both require monthly retainers. Investor acquisitions support, sales, public relations, and someone to help build the financial projections would also be helpful as we grow into our launch of all of this.
