Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
We are building a madrasa (Islamic school) located in rural Bangladesh, specifically in the Chadpur District in Greater Komilla. This madrasa will be named "Al Lu-Lu Wal Margan," which means "The Pearls and the Corals." The name is inspired by Surah Ar-Rahman, verse 22, symbolizing the preciousness of knowledge. For many in this area, this madrasa will be one of their only opportunities for Islamic education.
This madrasa will:
- Provide 500 orphans with living facilities.
- Educate 1,500 students, giving them access to Hifz programs, Noorani training, and essential Islamic knowledge.
- Create separate facilities for male and female students, ensuring dignity and comfort.
- Teach the general public, spreading the light of Islamic knowledge to parents, families, and the wider community.
Allah (SWT) tells us in the Quran: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing." [2:261]
