Invest in Education for Children in Rural Ghana

Donation protected
My dear friend Godsway has been doing education focused nonprofit work for vulnerable children in Rural Ghana for the past ten years. He is the founder of Travel Impact Xperience, a volunteer program that provides support and teaches valuable skills to rural communities in need. He has collaborated with local schools and villages to organize youth training sessions, career and education mentorship workshops, monitor at-risk students, and implement youth development programs. I have been working with Godsway for over a year now and have seen the impact he’s already made by bringing in volunteers and organizing educational workshops for youth all over the country.

More recently, Godsway has a new dream of providing support to at-risk children living in the village he grew up in. Earlier this year, he received funding from Blair Kaplan Venables of The Global Resilience Project to rent a property to start an after-school center in his village. His mission is to ensure young people in his community have the support and opportunities they need to succeed- to be defined by their potential, not their circumstances.

A lot of the youth in the Volta Region of Ghana live in broken homes, are food insecure, and lack financial stability. Young people often search for risky alternative means of finding income to support themselves and their families, which leads them down a path of crime and insecurity. Godsway’s after-school center will provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for at-risk youth to learn and grow. It will serve as a safe space for children to find a sense of belonging and mentorship that will help encourage them to continue pursuing education and remind them they are not alone.

Godsway needs your support to provide resources for operating the After-School Center in his community. Currently, we have the property secured for this project, but we’re still seeking donations to help garner all supplies necessary to be able to run these operations.

Our goal of $7,500 is to build an empowerment center where:

Educational workshops, individual tutoring, and after school classes will be FREE for everyone in the community
Students from 5 different schools within 3 villages will be impacted; projected to reach over 150+ students
10+ different courses will be offered monthly
One-on-one tutoring
IT & Coding
Filmmaking, Graphic Design
Science practicals
Creative Arts
Public Speaking
Public Health Education
Career development
And MORE!

Every dollar counts- every donation gives a student the chance of having a safe learning environment and a sense of community that can change the trajectory of their lives.

I can personally vouch for Godsway’s character and work ethic as I have witnessed him devote his life to helping others.

An Itemized breakdown of what the $7,500 will pay for is available upon request.

Thank you for being part of the community and supporting a rural empowerment project for children in Ghana.
