INVISIBLE LABOR DOCUMENTARY
Donation protected
Invisible Labor is about an unexpected breach of trust – between a progressive liberal arts college and the working-class union employees that keep its doors open. In February 2020, Oberlin College laid off 108 workers, spurring contention, protest, and conversation.
Can a liberal arts college defined by its progressive values uphold its mission while dismissing the employees that care for the school and its students? How far must private colleges and universities go to continue to operate and survive economically?
To finish Invisible Labor – to complete production and post-production, to compensate the artists, composers, and workers who have contributed to it, and to exhibit the film as widely as possible – we need your support.
Thank you for your contribution!
