Help Us Celebrate 100 Years of St. Columba's National School!
In 2025, St. Columba’s National School, Iona Road, Dublin 9 will mark an incredible milestone – 100 years of education and community! To honour this centenary, we have exciting plans to celebrate our past, present, and future.
Our celebrations will kick off with a Centenary Concert in the Hogan Suite, Croke Park, on February 14th, 2025, featuring performances by all of our wonderful students. It promises to be an unforgettable start to a year full of celebrations!
But we need your help to make this milestone extra special.
Our Goal: €100,000 for a safe Soft Play Surface
As part of the centenary celebrations, we aim to raise €100,000 to install a soft play surface in our school yard, giving the boys and girls of St. Columba’s a safe and enjoyable space to play for generations to come. Unfortunately, Department of Education funding does not cover this much-needed upgrade, but with your support, we can make this dream a reality.
This play surface will be the perfect way to celebrate 100 years of learning, play, and friendship at St. Columba’s.
We’re calling on:
- Past pupils who have fond memories of their time at St. Columba’s
- Past parents and staff who were part of our journey
- Our wonderful local community in Glasnevin, Drumcondra, and beyond
- Local businesses and suppliers who wish to give back to the local area
- Parishioners, friends, and supporters who believe in the power of education and community
