Support My Journey to IPF Worlds in Romania

After winning my weight category at the Canadian National Championships this past February, I am thrilled to share the incredible news with all of you. I have been selected to represent Team Canada at the upcoming IPF Powerlifting Jr. World Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Romania this August! It is a tremendous honour and a long time coming dream come true of mine.

My name is Kellie and I am a full-time Canadian student starting my Master's degree abroad in the US this August. Aside from academics, I spend the majority of my time at the gym, where I train as a powerlifter. Powerlifting has not only transformed my physical strength but has also instilled in me discipline, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. Over the years, I have put blood, sweat, and tears into this sport, and it has become an integral part of my life.

The Jr. World Championships is an extraordinary opportunity for powerlifters like me to showcase our skills on an international stage. It's a chance to compete against the best of the best from around the world, and I am beyond excited to represent our beautiful country.

However, participating in such a prestigious event comes with substantial expenses. The cost of travel ($2200), accommodation ($800), and competition fees ($275) can quickly add up, making it financially challenging for athletes like me to pursue their dreams.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to seek financial assistance in covering the expenses associated with my journey to the Jr. World Championships.
