iPlay: An Educational Tour In Northeast Florida

Hello! We are award winning classical voice & guitar duo: Deux Saisons

In 2018 we hosted an event called iPlay: An Audience Perspective on New Music in Columbia, SC, where we brought a diverse set of new music to the community through the Richland County Library.

In 2020, we applied for and received a grant to tour a version of iPlay through Northeast Florida, focusing on underserved areas, and schools & libraries with limited music exposure for children! This will be a fully fun, educational, & free event for kids and families.

The tour will be in the Spring of 2022 and will feature a variety of music, as well as a new composition!

We are so excited for this amazing opportunity and the grant award given to us.

BUT

The grant that we received is a match grant, and we will be unable to receive our grant without a match of at least half of the awarded amount. This is where your involvement comes in! We have to raise at least $3,000 to receive the grant amount of $6,000. This money will be used primarily to leave resources and equipment for the libraries or schools we are leaving to utilize in the future.

Our GoFundMe goal is $3,500 to also cover fees associated with online platforms.
