Support Women in Research & Academia This International Women’s Day!

This International Women’s Day, IP Telecom is proud to support Women in Research Ireland (WIRI) through a company-wide cycling fundraiser. WIRI provides an important platform for women, non-binary individuals, gender-fluid people, and other underrepresented groups in research, aiming to amplify voices silenced in academic spaces. Their mission addresses critical issues such as sexual assault and harassment, discrimination, the gender pay gap, and mental health support in higher education. As a member of the National Collective of Community-Based Women’s Networks (NCWI), WIRI also advocates for broader women’s rights initiatives, including economic independence, leadership representation, and an end to violence against women.

At IP Telecom, we have long recognised the need for greater gender diversity in STEM fields, particularly in Telecom and Tech, where women remain significantly underrepresented. By supporting WIRI, we aim to foster a future where women and underrepresented groups can thrive in research and academia. Your donation will help fund essential programs that create equitable opportunities for women in these fields.
