Ira & Margo with medical related emergency

Hi, My name is Kim. I am fundraising to help Mr. & Mrs. Ira Wolfe with medical-related hardship. Ira & Margo are family to me and it has been on my mind how I can help them. So, this is my way of trying to help with expenses such as food, gas, paying medical bills or whatever they may need to get through this hard time.

As some of you know, Ira, back in January had a heart attack and had to undergo open heart surgery, a pacemaker and a host of other surgeries and hospital stays since. Ira is being put on the heart transplant list and has a long road of recovery ahead of him. As of this date, 8-13-23, he is waiting for another heart catheterization which should be done on 8-14-23, he is also awaiting appointments at UVA for testing for the heart transplant. He was back in the hospital last week for more medical treatments due to his blood work showing kidney failure and liver failure on top of the heart problems. Ira has been a hard worker all of his life and a provider for his family, so during this time it has been hard on him knowing he is unable to work and provide for them. Understandably, his mental health has played an issue as well. Ira is the person that will give you the shirt off his back, he has a big heart and is willing to help anyone in need.

At this moment, Margo has some medical treatments to undergo herself, she is having to travel to Duke University for her medical treatments. She also has numerous appointments around Roanoke, VA. Margo has had multiple medical issues throughout her life and can only work part-time due to taking care of Ira and her medical issues.

So, with all that they have been through, I wanted to try and help them raise some money to help with everyday expenses, travel expenses and of course medical bills that insurance does not cover. If you feel you are in a position to help this wonderful family, please do, any amount will help.

****UPDATE**** Margo has a diagnosis at this time and needs further medical treatments in Durham, NC and needs prayers and travel expense funds to help her get back and forth to the hospital if anyone can help please, please help. They are the sweetest couple and could really use a miracle right now!! Thank you all that have helped and those that will help.
