Call me Galway Girl cause Britney wants to go to Ireland! If you know anything about me, I love to travel and nature is my one true calling. Entering college, I knew I wanted to study abroad, and with my school's direct exchange program with the University of Limerick, I will be furthering my education in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science in Fall 2021! As far as my career goes, physical therapy is still a strong path I am pursuing. Being able to strengthen my knowledge within a field that encourages movement in staying active and promotes people's overall health offers a handful of opportunities to deepen my own experiences and spread the knowledge about healthy everyday life habits. So, with officially and finally accepting my application at UL (!!!), I can't wait for what Ireland has in store for me! If you would like and wish to help me along this journey, I would like to thank you ahead of time to help me get to where I can and further showcase my growth as an individual! (Zelle/Venmo open as well, if preferred) I am taking every bit of chance I can get to achieve my goal. Come along the ride and enjoy the craic!
*Update 1 (09/30/21): This pandemic has really set back much of my plans to study abroad, but with my determination to learn at UL as well as some of my professors, TA, and peers encouraging me to try anyway, here I am! As of right now, nothing is certain and I will be updating as soon as I can when there is new information. In the event that abroad programs are canceled, donors will receive a full refund so please keep in mind whether you want to donate anonymously or not. But as far as applications and savings, they're still a-go!
**Update 2 (06/01/21): I'm officially accepted and headed to UL! Currently, planning and figuring out traveling situations as well as filling out additional forms from the acceptance.
***Update 3 (06/16/21): With the funds thus far, I was able to have enough for my flight tickets! Luckily was able to find affordable round-trip tickets for a steal! Thank you so much!! Now awaiting dorming applications...
****Update 4 (07/02/21): I got accepted into my dorming of choice! Cappavilla Village is where I will be staying (:
