Irene Call Surgery

Hi, I’m Brooke, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible mom, Irene Call.

My mom is the strongest and most adventurous person I know. She’s a mother of five, a grandmother to one, and an avid runner who finds joy in the outdoors, especially hiking and exploring the mountains.

Unfortunately, last week, she suffered a devastating injury from slipping on the ice. What she initially thought was just a broken ankle turned out to be much worse—she broke all three bones that hold the ankle together, along with her tibia and fibula. Because of the severity of these breaks, she now needs surgery.

Without it, she faces a lifelong limp, arthritis in her ankle, and the heartbreaking possibility of never being able to trail run or hike again. Her surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, but the cost is more than she can manage on her own.

Any help—no matter how small—would mean the world to her and our family. We just want to see her back on her feet, doing what she loves. Thank you so much for any support you can offer!
