Irene needs a car, food and gas.

Over the last few weeks, my housing situation turned hostile. My ex owned the house and became increasingly aggressive about getting me out - ultimately culminating in moving their new girlfriend in and calling the cops ten days after giving me an eviction notice.

 

Before I moved in, my ex made a lot of promises to help with the resources and tools I needed to be independent and build my savings up again. They shoved these promises off consistently when I brought them up after moving in, leaving me just a couple hundred dollars left to my name.

 

I've since found a place to stay, and I am safe elsewhere organizing getting my things and moving in. While I have a few job leads when I am settled, I can't effectively pursue anything without a vehicle under me, I can't afford moving costs, and I can't keep myself fed and gassed up in the short term.

 

I need help getting a vehicle and making it through the next month. Anything helps right now
