Irene Ramirez Vasquez Memorial Fund
Our hands are shaking as we type these words, we wish we could all wake up from this nightmare. After over a decade battling Lupus and following major complications during a series of emergency surgeries Friday, January 15th, 2021, Irene Ramirez Vasquez tragically and unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 45. 
Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece and godmother. There was nothing that she cherished more than her precious family ̶̶̶ ̶ except maybe her San Antonio Spurs or Dallas Cowboys! She touched the lives of everyone around her by being unapologetically true to herself and letting anyone comfortably do the same around her.
We are hoping to raise funds that will go directly to funeral costs, mounting hospital bills, and life without Irene here with us.
Her husband, Maury, and children, James and Carolina are left here to figure out a tragic new normal in their lives without their guiding light, Irene. She is Puro San Antonio, born and raised. Anyone who knew her can speak on her absolute heart of GOLD! If she loved you, you knew it, you felt it; she loved out loud. Oh yes, it is loud!
Our world has been flipped upside down and only through the grace of God are we pushing forward each day. It was impossible to anticipate she would leave us so suddenly but it is not our place to question God's timing.
