In memory of Irina

Friends and family of Irina know how deeply she will be missed. Her smile could light up any room, her laugh made it impossible to not laugh along. Irina passed away on February 9 at the age of 52. She leaves behind two kids — Michael, 17, and Jane, 32 — as well as her loving community.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to this fundraiser to help Irina's kids make it through this incredibly difficult time. Michael is about to graduate from high school and begin adult life at university, facing all the challenges that come with that. The funds donated will go directly to pay for his schooling and, on occasion, toward treats for his pet chihuahua Zee.

Those who wish can leave a note or share their favourite memories of Irina. She was an adventurous, bright woman, and the family will cherish deeply any anecdotes those who knew her can share.
